On 4 to 6 September, the ASEAN-China Centre (ACC) supported the holding of 2024 “Finest Cultural Gifts from China” Cultural and Tourism Trade Promotion Activity (Special Session for Wine Tour) in Yinchuan of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Director Mr. Hadi Tjahjono of Education, Culture and Tourism Division (ECTD) of the ACC headed a delegation of AMS diplomats based in Beijing to attend the Activity, including DCM Mr. Arnel G. Talisayon of the Embassy of the Philippines and Minister-Counsellor Mr. Sittikorn Chantadansuwan of the Embassy of Thailand.
On 5 September, the ACC delegation visited the 2024 “Finest Cultural Gifts from China” exhibition, attended the roadshow promotion activity, participated in the Wine Tour research at the Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain, and visited Rock Paintings of Helan Mountain and Yinchuan Zhihui Yuanshi Winery.
During the Activity, the ACC delegation also held meetings with hosting government agencies for discussions on the current situation of culture and tourism cooperation between ASEAN countries and Ningxia, as well as the cooperation opportunities in the field of cultural industries in the future.
